چکیده

Missile pose estimation in terminal guidance refers to the technique of estimating missile position and attitude by matching seeker images with pre stored reference images during the terminal phase of missile flight. This paper presents a method for estimating the position and orientation of the missile with respect to a known object using point correspondences between seeker and reference images. Seeker view is perspective in nature and hence there exists a nonlinear relationship between the points in the seeker image and the ground control points in the reference image. Hence by solving a set of linear equations, it is not possible to estimate missile pose directly from point correspondences. Assuming a scaled orthographic projection which is linear in nature, one can estimate initial approximate missile pose. In the present work we follow an iterative scheme for estimating missile pose starting from initial orthographic assumption. We describe a convergence criteria and establish a scheme that allows missile position x, y, z and heading ψ, θ, φ estimation in about 3-5 iterations. At convergence the result is compatible with perspective camera model. In this paper, we also describe in detail an iterative pose computation for coplanar object points. We present the results showing the sensitivity of the algorithm with varying trajectory parameters like altitude, range and position\ heading errors.

Design a Guidance Law Considering Approximation of Missile Control Loop Dynamics Using Adaptive Back-Stepping Theory

In this paper, a new guidance law is designed to improve the performance of a homing missiles guidance system in terminal phase. For this purpose first of all, the two dimensions equations of motion are formulated, then the approximation dynamic of missile control loop is added to these equations which are nonlinear whit unmatched uncertainty. Then, a new adaptive back-stepping method is develo...

A Three Stage Terminal Fuzzy Guidance Law for Reentry Vehicles

An advanced guidance law is developed for reentry phase of a reentry vehicle. It can achieve small miss distance and desired impact attitude angle, simultanceously. To meet this requirment a guidance law based on the fuzzy logic approach is developed. It is partitioned into three stages. This guidance law does not require linearization of missile engagement model. Line-of-sight and flight path ...

On new faster fixed point iterative schemes for contraction operators and comparison of their rate of convergence in convex metric spaces

In this paper we present new iterative algorithms in convex metric spaces. We show that these iterative schemes are convergent to the fixed point of a single-valued contraction operator. Then we make the comparison of their rate of convergence. Additionally, numerical examples for these iteration processes are given.
